Data Warehousing

The ArgisPOS system has built-in FTP internet transfer capability.  This allows all of your daily sales information to be automatically transmitted to the internet each night automatically.  You will no longer have to have one pc at the home-office call each store every night to retrieve sales data. 

When the end-of-day procedure is complete the system, at each retail outlet, will send selected data automatically.  If you have your own web system and storage facility, the ArgisPOS system can accomplish this polling out of the box with no additional software or costs.

Many organizations do not have anywhere for this data to be transmitted because of the lack of an in-house IT staff or an internet web server/ftp server.  If you fall into this category, do not worry.  We offer an optional data warehouse service for your convenience.

Note:  A local internet connection is require for each location in order to use internet data warehousing.
